la mun la moer

Terms of Service

Version v1 · Last updated 19 July 2026

la mun la moer (“LMLM”) is a reference tool for herbal materia medica — a place to look things up, compare across traditions, and draft formulations. These Terms are the agreement between you and us (la mun la moer, the operator) for using it. The shape of the deal is simple: you hold the judgement about how you use what you find here, and we keep a small, firm frame around that. By using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you do not, please do not use it.

1. What this is — and what it is not

LMLM documents cross-tradition materia medica for reference, comparison, and formulation. It is information, not advice — not medical, clinical, or professional guidance — and it does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Herbs can be unsafe: they interact with medicines and can be contraindicated in pregnancy, for children, and for particular conditions. So the rule that matters most: do not make a real clinical decision on the strength of this tool alone. Treat what you find as a starting point to check, not an answer to act on, and keep the safety judgement with a qualified practitioner. You use the information at your own risk.

2. Your account

You need an accurate email, and you are responsible for keeping your account secure. Sign-in is by a method we support — such as an emailed link or a linked account with a provider like Google. You must be at least 18 (or older, if that is the age of majority where you live). Your account is yours alone: do not share, sell, or transfer it.

3. Content and conduct

The recipes and formulations you create stay yours. You decide whether each one is private or public; marking a recipe public lets us and other users view and use it within the Service. You are responsible for what you create and for having the right to share it, and we may remove anything unlawful, unsafe, or in breach of these Terms. If you send us feedback or ideas, you let us use them freely, with no obligation to you — which does not affect your ownership of your recipes.

The materia medica itself — the dataset, its structure, and the cross-tradition framing that connects it — is ours, even where an individual fact is traditional or public knowledge; the value is in the compilation. It is here for you to use within the Service, so please do not scrape it, extract it in bulk, redistribute it, or use it to train machine-learning models. More generally, do not misuse the Service: no breaking security, no reaching into other users’ data, no reverse engineering, and nothing that endangers others.

4. Paid plans

There is a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (currently Stripe), on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). You can cancel at any time and keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. Payments already made are not refundable except where the law says otherwise, though we may choose to refund at our discretion. We will give reasonable notice before changing prices or features.

5. What we do not promise, and who carries the risk

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and we are not responsible for delays or outages beyond our reasonable control (infrastructure, providers, networks, natural events, government action). To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for harm from relying on the information or using any herb or formulation; and our total liability to you is capped at what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here removes liability that cannot be removed by law. In return, you agree to cover us (indemnify us) for claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or content you post — except to the extent the claim is our fault, and never for rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

6. The legal frame

These Terms are governed by the law of Thailand, and Thai courts have jurisdiction — without taking away any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. We may transfer these Terms if the Service or business is sold or reorganised; you cannot transfer yours without our consent. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing a term once does not waive it. These Terms are the whole agreement about the Service. We may update them; when we make material changes we will reflect them here and take reasonable steps to tell you — for example by email or an in-app notice — and continued use means you accept the update.
